SkinPro®; collagen supplement for wrinkle reduction and a natural face lift… youthful skin!

Collagen improvement, skin elasticity, soft and smooth skin, wrincle reduction, hydration, skin improvement?

That sounds like a lot but it can be done with the latest version of SkinPro®. The dosage and formulation is so effective that results can be expected within very short time. Most users see the difference in their skin with a few weeks. Why is it so promising? Let me explain about the ingredients and the technology of this state-of-the-art product!

What is…

Anti Aging and elastin peptides

Everyone knows that maintaining the skin is important to prevent it from losing its strength. But gravity simply pulls at our skin every day, as a result of which skin may start sagging around the mouth and eventually at the throat and neck areas. Prevention is everything, but most times we start to care after seeing the first signs of aging. SkinPro® has been developed to combat this, or to stimulate more elasticity and volume. It contains unique components, such as elastin peptides and many more, that act as pure nourishment for the elastic fibres in order to provide them with elasticity again. As a result, a natural lift is created. A real anti aging product, as it will take many years from our face! It also contains components that support collagen production to reduce fine lines as well.

Collagen and wrincle reduction

Next to elastin fibers also collagen fibers play an important role in our skin, arteries and even bones. Collagen is one of the most abundant proteins in our body. It needs to be renewed on a constant basis, since the turnover time is around 90 days only. The collagen in our skin is identical to bone collagen, both type 1. If our skin shows weak with a los of collagen it may be expected our bones will suffer from the same shortage of these essential components. More collagen peptides, minerals like TerreMatrix and vitamin D3 are essential to prevent osteoporoses. If the collagen levels in our bones are sufficient, the skin will have full benefit of the unique fish collagen peptides, used in SkinPro. This explains as well, that results for skin improvement can take more or less time, depending on the general health status of the user. Since it is difficult for our body to digest and break down dietary collagen small enough to be absorbed by the gut, we only use collagen peptides, originating from fish. These are identical to our collagen, but so small they are water soluable. Therefor, 100% absorption is guaranteed to secure maximum results in minimum time.

Hyaluronic acid and volume

After restoring our levels of collagen, deep wrincles will become less deep and less visible. But wrincles from facial expressions will always show, just less emphasised. If the skin looks smooth, without fine wrincles, it will appear younger and healthier as well. Collagen fibers more or less "float" in a gel, made by proteoglycans. These are very large molecules who attract a lot of water into the skin. Those proteoglycans exist everywhere, including within the collagen bundles. However, also these important molecules become less abundant in the aging skin. They, like elastin and collagen fibers, are broken down due to the devistating influence of free radicals and UV-light. However, we need a lot of sunshine to stay healthy and produce plenty of vitamin D3. Since our food is short in many essential nutrients and anti oxidants, it is highly recommended to protect our skin as well as possible with a wide variety of anti oxidants, as found in PhytoMatrix.

Cartidea®, chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine

To build new proteoglycans we need to provide our skin with all nutrients to rebuild these very long molecules. Cartidea contains all those building blocks to construct new proteoglycans. These repeating molecules of the hyaluronic core can exist out of up to 25.000 disacharides (type of sugar molecules) which have many side arms, called aggrecan molecules. Those have side arms again, which are build from keratan and chondroitin sulfate. Even the smallest parts of these complex molecules are available in SkinPro to ensure younger and more beautiful and healthy skin. To stimulate the building of these proteoglycans, SkinPro even hold an amount of hyaluronic acid, acting as a messenger molecule. It improves the uptake of more nutrients, such as glucosamine, and stimulates the enzymes who produce these proteoglycans.

Clinical and instrumental evaluation of a food supplement in improving skin hydration.

Primavera G, Berardesca E.

Topically applied cosmetic products can be helpful in improving skin hydration. The study shows how oral supplementation could be helpful in improving and preventing the skin dehydration. A total of 32 healthy female volunteers entered the study. Of which, 16 were treated with a food supplement based on vegetable ceramides, amino acids, fish cartilage, antioxidants and essential fatty acids for 40 days and 16 with placebo. The results of the clinical and instrumental evaluations carried out in this study, have highlighted how the active treatment is effective in improving skin hydration and in reducing the cutaneous smoothness and roughness and the depth of furrows, in comparison to the placebo. In fact, concerning several important parameters, as stratum corneum hydration and skin roughness, the improvement measured exceeded 25%. We therefore suggest that a combination of treatments (oral and topical) can be more effective in improving skin hydration.
